Abstract
This paper deals with a correlation between sensitivity and identificability of the continuous and discrete-time systems. First, a method for determining parametric sensitivity is presented and then identification is performed. After that, system identificability is derived directly from the identification error. We established a method for determining the correlation between system sensitivity and identificability. Experiments have confirmed very strong correlation between sensitivity and identificability for continuous as well as for discrete time systems.
