Abstract
The paper presents an application of using the method of analogical modelling through the matrix of partial derivatives of the state vector (Mpdx) associated with Taylor series. The application is based on the study of the thermal processes from a metallurgical furnace with rotary hearth. In the present paper the technical processes are viewed like distributed parameters processes and their work is modelled through equations with partial derivatives. A large section from the paper is dedicated to the presentation of the simulation results. The simulations were made in order to show the behaviour of the thermal processes in the most relevant cases and to show the performances of the numerical simulation method.
