Abstract
The changed methodology in engineering brought integrated modeling systems with the capability of product definition for lifecycle. Recently, key emphases are on integration of product modeling and modeling processes, representation of knowledge in product model, cooperation of engineers within projects, and interactions with physical world. Considering current product modeling practice in leading industries, this paper concentrates on the above four topics.
