Abstract
In this paper the performance evaluation of three low-level feature algorithms is presented. The features are points with the property of being corners in 2D monochrome image. The criteria used for assessment are: number of corners detected per frame, number of stable corner, corner stability. For effective measurement of the feature detectors, image sequences with controlled motion are employed, so that the appearance and disappearance of corners in each frame is purely due to imaging conditions produced by object movement. From experiments it is determined which detecting algorithm gives the best results.
