Abstract
The goal of this paper is to present the principles of developing and implementing a fingerprint recognition system. Fingerprint recognition can be integrated into any application that requires security, access control, and identification or verification of users. With biometric security, one can dispense with the key, the password, and the PIN code. Previous storing the information in a database enables fast and reliable recognition.
