Abstract
Air pollution and health protection issues represent, nowadays, major concerns for the researchers and detecting dangerous gases concentration in air enables to initiate some activities meant to avoid both of these problems. Because of these reasons, the sensors, the equipments and the methods applied for detecting the degree of dangerous substances mixture in the atmosphere are of great interest within the scientific world. The present study highlights several aspects concerning the execution of an informatic system used for detecting the degree of dangerous gases concentration (methane, butane, carbon monoxide) in air and the transmission of the information towards a dispatcher. The results thus obtained facilitate the use of these systems in other applications as well, oriented towards measuring and supervising certain parameters with plotted points geographically distributed.
