Abstract
Complementary sequences (Golay series) are well suited for the testing of time-invariant linear systems, for radar and optic reflectometry and for multislit spectrometers. The effect of applying a delta pulse can be obtained, without having to strain the system. At the same time, a better compromise between the resolution and the signal to noise ratio is obtained.
